Hands and Fingers


Each of the four fingers and thumb in each hand are activated with a servo in the forearm. The servos are connected to the the fingers via the tendons made from braided fishing line. There are left and right versions of the hands.

On the first hand I spent a lot of time sanding and painting the parts. However the results were not great, and so to save time I did not paint the second hand.

The covers really help to finish off the hand and give it a more sculptured look. I did not paint the covers on either hand.
